By We are pleased to announce the 2021 Paul Rickard Memorial Golf Outing will be held June 7, 2021 at West Hills Country Club.
Similar to years past, we will be hosting the outing at West Hills Country Club in Middletown, NY. West Hills is the premier private golf club in the Hudson Valley. Nestled in the foothills of Orange County between Middletown and Goshen, it offers a unique golf experience with immaculate facilities. The club provides an exquisite experience whether you are knocking the ball around on their championship level golf course or enjoying the reception afterwards provided by their highly skilled culinary team. West Hills never disappoints.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Paul Rickard Memorial Scholarship was unable to hold its annual golf outing in Spring 2020. The golf outing is a primary driver in funding the scholarships. Based on the phenomenal support over the previous three years, the Paul Rickard Memorial Scholarship was able to provide additional assistance to SUNY Orange in this uncertain year by supporting additional athletic scholarships in the 2020-2021 academic year.
The Paul Rickard Memorial Scholarship is committed to providing a scholarship for a men’s basketball player and an Orange County high school graduate planning on studying mathematics, computer science or engineering. Most importantly, the scholarship will always be there for SUNY Orange whenever the need arises.
