During Paul’s 50 year teaching career, he taught at St. Edward the Confessor School, Syossett, NY, St. Mary’s High School in Manhasset, NY, Monticello High School in Monticello, NY,  Pine Bush High School in Pine Bush, NY and SUNY Orange in Middletown, NY. His career started in 1966 as a 7th and 8th grade math teacher and ended as a Mathematics Professor and Chairman of the Mathematics and Computer Science Department in 2006. He continued as a part-time professor until his death in 2017.

In the Fall of 1981, Paul was hired as a math instructor at SUNY Orange. Paul felt the opportunity to work at SUNY Orange was one of the many miracles in his life.

For 36 years he was a member of the faculty at SUNY Orange. In addition to teaching mathematics, he served as chair of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science. Paul served as Union President for Staff and Chair Association.

Paul strongly believed in the mission of SUNY Orange, and he valued the relationships he formed there over more than three decades. He felt so passionately about the quality of the educational experience that all seven of his children graduated from the SUNY Orange.
