After graduation, Justin committed to play football at Utica College in upstate New York. Like many SUNY Orange students, after his Freshman season Justin decided to come back home. Since arriving on campus, he has been a staple for Coach Detz on the court.  In his first year, he started for the Colts. In his second season, he has been named captain of the team and is currently averaging 14 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game.

“Justin’s “do whatever the team needs” attitude is exactly why we are thrilled Coach Detz decided to award the Paul Rickard Memorial Scholarship to Justin.” said Tom Rickard. “Justin exemplifies everything my father wanted in his players hardworking, tough, selfless and of course talented. “
